Your Role
In this exciting position, you will be the driving force behind an outstanding customer experience. Your mission? To optimize resources and meet customer needs efficiently while maintaining top-notch service performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Service Engineering Team: Understand and respond to customer requests, assess priorities, and identify actionable steps with agreed timelines.
* Ensure Fleet Availability: Adhere to processes for inspections, repairs, and maintenance, keeping all data current.
* Maximize Engineer Productivity: Plan jobs effectively and allocate resources to meet customer needs.
* Drive Best Practices: Implement 5-star contamination control through audits and operational excellence.
* Manage Job Progress: Oversee job status at every stage, ensuring timely resolution for customers.
* Enhance Safety: Identify opportunities for safety improvements and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
* Engage Employees: Foster a motivated team environment aligned with business targets.
What We’re Looking For
* Customer Service Skills: Ability to build strong relationships with clients.
* Organizational Skills: Excellent planning and attention to detail.
* Interpersonal Skills: Strong influencing and negotiation abilities.
* IT Proficiency: Familiarity with Excel, Teams, and Outlook is essential.
* Team Player: Works well in a collaborative environment.
* Leadership: Experience in people management and health & safety practices.
Knowledge & Experience
* Understanding of diesel generator products and engine/fuel control systems.
* Familiarity with M3/INFOR systems (training provided).
* Experience with parts identification and ordering processes.
