Role: Quality Inspector Location: Wellingborough Salary GBP 35,000 : GBP 40,000 per annum Were recruiting a Quality Inspector for a well:established precision engineering business in Wellingborough. The business produces machined components for the automotive, aerospace and medical sectors and quality sits at the heart of everything they do. This is a great opportunity for a detail:driven inspector to join a stable, busy shop floor team where your work genuinely matters. What youll be doing : Inspecting precision machined components at goods:in, in:process and final inspection stages Using CMM equipment, height gauges, micrometers, verniers and optical comparators to verify dimensions against drawing Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and geometric tolerances (GD and T) Raising and recording non:conformances, completing inspection reports and maintaining accurate quality records Supporting first article inspections (FAI) and working closely with the Quality Engineer on CAPA activity What youll need : Previous inspection experience in aprecision machining or CNC manufacturingenvironment Confident using conventional measurement equipment : micrometers, verniers, bore gauges, CMM Ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances and GD and T symbols A methodical, accurate approach and a genuine eye for detail
