Our client is looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join their team, based in their Glasgow office. You will help to deliver high-level and complex reports to clients, supporting the advisers in providing expert financial advice.
This will be a hybrid working role, based 2-3 days a week in Glasgow.
Paraplanner - Main responsibilities
* The client is at the heart of their values, and therefore, all communication should be bespoke to them and written in concise Plain English.
* Ensure the advice you provide is considerate of the client and appropriate; if not, have the confidence to challenge the Partner.
* You will be required to keep up to date with all relevant training and best practice to enable this standard to be met.
* This includes company and departmental training, competence development initiatives.
* Commitment to pass basic internal financial industry exams within 3 months of employment.
* Regularly provide workflow updates to Partners regarding their cases so they feel in control and can manage client expectations.
* Have a thorough understanding of the Company's advice process, reporting format, pre-approval process and regulatory requirements.
* Work closely with other Paraplanners and the Paraplanner Team Leader to share ideas and best practice. This includes:
* All aspects of a good customer experience.
* Assist your paraplanning colleagues in busy periods.
* Identifying any process improvements that can be made.
* Continue to effectively promote the Central Paraplanning Team’s positive team culture and dynamic by working closely with other teams and departments.
