We are looking for a Team Member Events Host at the Barnsley Metrodome! A little more about the role: Become a team member at the Barnsley Metrodome! Day-to-Day Duties Events Host Assist with event set-up, including furniture, staging, signage, equipment, and décor Ensure event spaces are prepared according to event plans and health & safety requirements Support event de-rigs, including dismantling, packing, and removal of equipment and materials Safely handle equipment and materials, reporting any damage or issues promptly Welcome guests and act as a point of contact throughout the event Manage guest registration, ticket scanning, or sign-in processes Provide clear directions and event information to attendees Support speakers, performers, and suppliers as required Maintain a professional, friendly, and approachable presence at all times Assist the Events Team Leader with on-the-day coordination and troubleshooting Monitor event flow, timings, and guest needs Ensure event areas remain clean, tidy, and presentable Escalate any issues, incidents, or safety concerns promptly You'll complete daily tasks and welcome changes that help us to work better, you will be ready to jump in and help customers or their teammates anytime. You will help to make our spaces feel warm and welcoming for all. You will own your performance and work hard to meet your daily tasks and goals. Hours of work: Average 18.33 hours per week Shifts involve days, evenings, weekends and the occasional night shift for event set up and de-rigs Rates of pay: Age 16 - £8.26 Age 17 - £9.21
