Are you somebody that has experience in delivering care/support to vulnerable children and feel like you'd enjoy supporting children with additional needs within a Primary classroom? At Vision for Education, we are currently seeking an experienced professional to work as a SEN Teaching Assistants in a Primary Schools in the St Neots area.
The Role – SEN Support
Location: St Neots
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full time
Working as SEN Support, you'll be working with children aged 2–11 with a variety of complex needs, including autism, physical disabilities, and learning difficulties.
Responsibilities for the SEN Support role include:
1. Providing one-to-one and small group support
2. Aiding communication and classroom engagement
3. Supporting mobility and physical needs
4. Delivering personal care respectfully and sensitively
5. Working closely with teaching staff and therapists to provide a nurturing environment
What we're looking for:
6. Experience in working with children, particularly with those with additional needs
7. A compassionate and resilient nature
8. Confidence in providing personal care when needed
9. Ability to commit to the school’s full-time working hours
10. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
11. Able to provide references, and proof of right to work and address
