We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Administrator to join our team at our Markham Vale site on a full-time permanent basis.
Salary: £28,120 per annum.
Working hours: 4 on 4 off, 7pm-7am.
The Transport Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support and creating accurate data, working to deadlines, and contributing to the overall success of the site.
Key Duties of a Transport Administrator:
* Ensure POD and Return processes are carried out according to site policy.
* Book collections and deliveries for customers, complete relevant paperwork.
* Investigate collection queries.
* Ensure all paperwork for customer deliveries is returned and chase outstanding PODs.
* Liaise with staff at other depots and external contacts.
* Photocopy, print, organize, and store documents and digital information.
* Manage inbound diary for all customers.
* Monitor daily POD workflow.
* Control period-end spreadsheets.
* Compile lists of outstanding PODs and contact hauliers to request them.
* Report daily outstanding PODs.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a similar role.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* High attention to detail.
* Ability to manage own time and achieve targets.
