Job Description
Position Function:
Perform basic patient care activities as delegated by the registered nurse to support quality patient care.
II. Job Relationships:
Supervised by the Patient Care Director or designee and the Registered Nurse. Effective communication and collaboration with healthcare professionals are essential.
III. Authority:
Provide basic patient care and complete assigned tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
IV. Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
1. Deliver superior customer service adhering to Service Excellence Standards.
2. Assist with patient care activities, including helping patients in and out of bed, orienting patients, and responding to call lights.
3. Support admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, including preparing the unit, transferring patients, and assembling belongings.
