SEN Tutor
Salary: £25 - £35 Per hour
Job Duties:
1. Provide individualised support and tuition to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
2. Develop and implement tailored learning plans based on students' specific needs and abilities.
3. Assist students in improving their academic performance and achieving educational goals.
4. Utilise a variety of teaching methods to engage students and enhance their learning experience.
5. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant teaching qualification
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Knowledge of SEN support strategies and resources
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of SEN practises and principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional qualifications in Special Education or SEN support
- Experience working in a similar role within an educational setting
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours, flexible schedule
- Work primarily in a classroom or educational setting
- May require travel to different locations within the region

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
