A charming, bright and child-centered primary school based in Chippenham is currently recruiting for a Primary Teaching Assistant to promote and support the delivery of classroom learning in Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. This is a perfect prospect for aspiring teachers to start their career in education and to gain an understanding of the National Curriculum.

This is a golden opening for a recent graduate who is pursuing a career in education or an for an experienced teaching assistant who is looking for a new challenge. Previous working experience with children is favourable for this teaching assistant position but is not essential. Relevant experience could include mentoring, coaching, tutoring, assisting in a nursery, childcare, or similar experience in a classroom setting. Supporting children with ASD, behavioural issues and learning difficulties would be extremely beneficial for this role.

The senior leadership team are actively seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant who is captivating, resolute and willing to step out of their comfort zone to ensure each child has the chance to succeed. The individual appointed will assist the learning across the curriculum in core subjects such as Maths and Science to foundation subjects such as PSHE and Music.
