Connect Fibre, founded in 2019 by telecoms enthusiasts, aims to develop the UK's fastest and most reliable fibre network. We are seeking an enthusiastic Community Engagement Executive to support our operations and expand our presence in communities across Northeast Staffordshire, Derbyshire, South Yorkshire, and Nottinghamshire.
The Role
Reporting to the Community Engagement Manager, you will drive local sales and marketing strategies, build relationships with community members, and organize local events to promote our services and values.
Key Responsibilities:
* Promote our brand and build relationships within local communities.
* Manage community engagement through social media, blogs, and events.
* Support branded events to generate sales, leads, and content.
* Sponsor local activities supporting the brand.
* Coordinate local marketing activities and manage merchandise stock and budgets.
* Assist in growing the customer referral program.
* Analyze industry landscape and report findings.
* Travel as necessary (2-3 day trips per week).
The Candidate
* Experience in community liaison, marketing, and sales.
* Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to organize community events and create engaging content.
* Excellent communication skills, with good grammar and spelling.
* Project management and multi-tasking abilities.
* Confident stakeholder engagement skills.
* Digital savvy and customer campaign experience.
* Loyal, reliable team player with initiative.
