Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Coordinator to oversee the day‑to‑day delivery of HR administration across the full employee lifecycle. This key role ensures a high‑quality, efficient and consistent HR service while coordinating and supporting three HR Assistants.
Key Responsibilities
* Team Coordination & Leadership: coordinate, oversee and prioritise the daily workload of three HR Assistants, provide day‑to‑day guidance and coaching, act as first escalation point, identify bottlenecks, support training and upskilling.
* HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle: oversee recruitment, onboarding, absence management, probation, performance processes and employee records; quality check documentation, ensure compliance with policy.
* Absence, Leave & Employee Records: oversee sickness absence processing, long‑term absence tracking, occupational health referrals, manage leave records and awards.
* Systems, Data & Compliance: maintain HR systems and records accuracy, audit, oversee right‑to‑work checks, visa tracking and compliance reporting, maintain organisation charts.
* Reporting & Stakeholder Support: produce and review weekly and monthly HR reports, support HR Business Partners with timely information and insights, manage vacancy bulletins and agency administration.
About you
* Essential: Proven experience coordinating or managing HR administration in a customer‑focused environment; experience leading or coordinating others; strong organisational skills; confident Microsoft Office user; excellent communication skills; sound judgement and resilience.
* Desirable: Experience in a fast‑paced or complex organisation; demonstrable experience of driving improvements or change within HR; knowledge of HR systems and data reporting.
