Overview
Use your clinical experience to work with people who have a diverse range of health conditions, to gain a clear understanding of how their challenges and the ways their disability affects them impacts their daily life. Work within an office style environment and at home, completing detailed, meaningful and respectful assessments over the telephone, video or face-to-face. Interpret medical evidence and gather your findings into a comprehensive report to support the decision-making process by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

Responsibilities
* Complete assessments with claimants applying for Work Capability Assessments (WCA) as part of the DWP's Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS).
* Assess cases autonomously, across a very broad range of health conditions, and determine impact on daily living and work capacity.
* Prepare comprehensive reports documenting findings to support DWP decision-making, including remote assessments where applicable.
Qualifications
* We can only accept applications from Qualified Nurses, Physiotherapists, Paramedics or Occupational Therapists for this vacancy.
* NMC/HCPC registration is required.
* You must have at least 1 year of broad post-registration experience; UK experience is essential.
* Proactive, keen to learn and receptive to feedback.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and IT competency is a must-have.
