Financial Controller – Hybrid | Permanent Inverclyde Salary £70k to £85k plus benefits Lusona is working exclusively with our Global client in the service sector to source suitable applicants for this new role. We are looking to speak to qualified accountants with a passion for governance, compliance, and financial integrity. The Financial Controller will lead statutory accounting and financial control for several legal entities within a global organisation. This is a high-impact role where you’ll be the key contact for local tax, treasury, and regulatory bodies, ensuring audit-readiness and alignment with group policies. Key Responsibilities Deliver accurate statutory financial statements under local GAAP and IFRS Manage month-end close, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations Lead external audits and respond to queries with full documentation Act as liaison for tax, treasury, and regulatory matters Maintain strong internal controls and governance Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Group Reporting, and Shared Services Ideal Candidate Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Experience in statutory accounting and financial control Strong understanding of IFRS, local GAAP, and audit cycles Confident communicator with experience liaising with external bodies Detail-oriented, resilient, and collaborative Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment This is a fantastic opportunity to join a values-driven organisation and play a key role in ensuring financial integrity and compliance across multiple entities.
