Are you someone who takes pride in creating clean, safe spaces? Looking for a stable, part-time role in a supportive environment? Edgar Wood Academy is looking for a committed Daytime Cleaner to join our cleaning team and help us maintain a welcoming and hygienic school environment for all.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work in a reliable, term-time-only role — ideal for fitting around family or other commitments.
Contract: Term Time Only, 30 hours per week, 11am – 5pm.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned to a high standard, including classrooms, offices, corridors, and restrooms
* Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and waste disposal
* Replenish consumable items (e.g., soap, toilet paper) as needed
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
* Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively
* Follow established health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

* Able to work weekdays during term time
Cleaning experience is helpful but not essential as full training will be provided.
