Join a dynamic and growing manufacturing organisation headquarters in Reading, UK. My client's team is dedicated to innovation, quality, and sustainability, and they are seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join them on a temporary basis for a minimum of 6 months.
Job Description
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
* Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
* Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
* Support month-end and year-end close processes.
* Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
* Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
* Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
* Immediately available or available within short notice.
* Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role.
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* A self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
