Overview
We are looking for a Consultant Radiologist who is expected to support the general radiology service as well as perform specialist work within their area(s) of sub‑specialty interest.
Specialist Focus
* Thoracic Radiologist
* Cardiac Radiologist
* Uroradiologist
* Breast Radiologist (considered)
* Paediatric Radiologist (considered)
Commitment & Schedule
The position involves commitment to the AAU radiology rota. A dedicated 5‑hour session per week is currently allocated to this with occasional additional filler sessions. On‑call commitments may involve a 1 in 18 weekend rota with a requirement to be on site at the weekend/bank holidays between 08:30 and 15:30.
Additional flexibility: 7am‑7pm Monday‑Friday with a flexible job plan available. Overnight and weekend on‑call from 08:30 to 15:30.

4. Fluoroscopy and ultrasound lists
5. SPA 1.5 PAs
Requirements & Qualifications
* Extensive experience in general and dedicated sub‑specialist radiology as indicated.
* Knowledge of NHS complaints system.
* Record of incident and near miss reporting.
* Presentation skills.
* Teaching undergraduates and postgraduates.
* Demonstrates honesty, integrity and appreciation of ethical dilemmas.
* Audit experience.
* Experience of research, presentations to learned societies.
