The Garden Café is a busy café situated within Glendoick Garden Centre. We are located on the A90 Perth-Dundee Road. We pride ourselves on creating a warm atmosphere where both our guests and team members feel at home.
Summary
We are looking for friendly, bubbly and enthusiastic individual to assist with leading our Front of House team. As a Supervisor you will help to deliver exceptional service to ensure that all our visitors receive a warm welcome when visiting the Garden Café .
Responsibilities
* Prioritize and maintain a positive customer experience, ensuring all staff uphold these standards
* Assist the Duty Managers in the day-to-day operation of the Café, leading and motivating the team in the Café Manager's absence
* You will have the responsibility of ensuring all opening and closing procedures are followed
* Assist with the development of staff training
* Ensure efficient and appropriate service at all stages throughout service, from preparation to delivery
* Prepare hot and cold drinks and serve food efficiently
* Oversee day-to-day operations and comply with health & safety standards
Personal Specification
* Previous experience in customer service with a customer-focused approach and high standards
* Hospitality experience is essential
* Have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
* Be a team player with leadership skills and have the ability to prioritize customer needs
Key Skills & Qualifications
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations is advantageous
* Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Hours & Work Pattern
16-25 hours a per week, worked 3/4 days out of 7. You are expected to work every SECOND weekend (Saturday & Sunday).
This is a day shift role only, there are no split shifts or evening shifts.
Public transport to Glendoick is limited, applicants should have access to private transport to ensure they can arrive for work on time for each shift.
