Early hours for experienced Care Assistants in the Codnor Area!
As an experienced Care Assistant, you will be working alongside a friendly and experienced team within a beautiful care home which caters for up to 40 residents living with age-related illnesses such as Dementia.
As part of your day-to-day role, you will be:
* Following personalised care plans
* Recording any relevant condition updates
* Recording fluid intakes
* Conducting required personal care
* Supporting the service users through effective use of moving and handling
* Maintaining the health and safety of the service users at all times
* Taking part in activities to keep the service users engaged throughout the day
* Completing housekeeping tasks as required

To apply for this role, you must:
* Have referenceable work history
* Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults, and infection control)
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service
* Have a minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience working within a care home
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee, and the certificates are yours to keep!
This role offers immediate start opportunities with ongoing work. We have full-time and part-time hours available. You will be working either 06:45 to 14:30 on days between Monday and Sunday. The rate of pay for this role is £12.35 per hour (plus accrued holiday)
