• Location: Flexible with good access to Glasgow + international travelA high-growth, international services group is seeking a commercially driven Chief Financial Officer to partner closely with the CEO and executive team. This is a pivotal leadership role with responsibility for shaping financial strategy, driving performance, and supporting expansion across UK and US operations.This is not a traditional, reporting-led finance role. The successful candidate will act as a strategic architect of growth - bringing clarity to complex operations, strengthening financial governance, and enabling data-led decision making across the business.Responsibilities:Lead group-wide financial strategy, planning, and performance managementPartner with the CEO to translate ambition into robust, scalable financial modelsOversee international finance operations, reporting, and governanceDrive profitability, margin improvement, and commercial accountabilityLead funding strategy, banking relationships, and investor engagementSupport US growth initiatives, including investment and potential exit scenariosDevelop M&A strategy, including acquisition, due diligence, and integrationStrengthen cash flow, working capital, and financial controlsEmbed data-driven insights and KPI frameworks across the organisationPlay a key role in long-term value creation, succession planning, and exit readinessCandidate Profile:Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader within the service industry (essential)Strong knowledge of the US market, with a demonstrable track record of supporting international expansionExperience operating in Private Equity environments, including fundraising and investor engagementHighly commercial, strategic thinker with the ability to influence at board levelExperience in complex, multi-entity and/or international environmentsStrong operator with the ability to drive performance across non-financial teamsData-driven, forward-thinking, and confident challenging senior stakeholdersExperience with M&A, funding, and investor engagement highly desirableThis is a rare opportunity to shape the future of a growing international business, with significant influence at board level and exposure to strategic decision-making across multiple markets.UK-based with regular international travel required.
