An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Associate to join theSchool of Psychologytoconduct studies on the sense of agency in social interactions.The project is funded by the Leverhulme Trust, and you will be working with the lead researcher Professor Andrew Bayliss and other team members. The project involves conducting experimental psychology and neuroimaging studies to examine actions in social contexts.
As a Research Associate youwill contribute to the research programme, analyse and interpret data, write up results and present information on research progress and outcomes.
Youwill have a degree in Psychology or a related discipline and be able to work in a proactive and results driven manner in a high paced environment. You will also have stronginterpersonaland communicationskills, the ability to analyse and interpret data and work effectively as part of a team. Advanced skills directlyrelating to this research area and previousresearch experiencewouldbe advantageous.
This full-time post is available from 12 August 2025 on a fixed-term basis for 18 months.
