About the Role Liberty Centre Ltd is seeking a highly organised and technically proficient IT Project Coordinator to manage IT operations and media production activities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, combining IT project management with creative media leadership.
Key Responsibilities Manage IT and media activities across the organisation
Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects, including budget, timeline, and team management
Supervise studio recordings, live broadcasts, and post-production workflows
Lead creative direction for social media, podcasts, talk shows, outdoor events, and short-form content
Manage and mentor media production teams (camera operators, editors, designers, social media staff)
Oversee social media channels, ensuring brand consistency and engagement
Develop and enforce production and IT standards, policies, and procedures
Maintain network systems, servers, and data storage; ensure cybersecurity and system reliability
Implement and manage cloud services (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365)
Oversee IT assets, including computers, projectors, streaming devices, and servers
Manage departmental budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships
Redesign and manage the Liberty Centre website
Provide technical support for all departments, centres, and units
Plan and deliver training for volunteers and media team members
Transport service users as required
Skills, Experience & Qualifications Bachelors degree in Media Technology, IT, Broadcast Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years experience in media production, IT management, or broadcast operations
Strong IT technical knowledge including network configuration, cloud management, server administration, backups, and cybersecurity
Proficiency with Blackmagic ATEM, DaVinci Resolve / Adobe Creative Suite, vMix / OBS, NDI/IP workflows, and sound/lighting systems
Excellent communication, documentation, and report writing skills
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Resilient, proactive, and driven personality
Full driving licence
