Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Halifax for a Deputy Care Manager. The Deputy Care Manager will oversee case management, plan and coordinate care services, and work to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered support. Work alongside with Care Manager. Responsibilities include developing personalized care plans, supervising and training care staff, conducting assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role also requires liaising with healthcare professionals and social services to address client needs and foster independence.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in case management and care planning processes
* Experience in providing elder care and working within social services frameworks
* Knowledge of healthcare and CQC
* Ability to train and supervise staff effectively
* Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards and best practices in care management
* Qualification in Health and Social Care or an equivalent field (e.g., NVQ Level 4) is preferred
* Prior experience in a similar role within the care sector is an advantage
