Under the oversight of Director PLEXSYS UK, the Programme Manager (PM) is a multi-faceted role and combines delivery, sales and product support of our product line and services. Primarily the PM will be responsible for managing assigned projects and ensuring they are delivered on time and on budget in accordance with the requirements for the contracted customer needs. The PM is responsible for meeting project goals and deliverables as well as plan, execute, and finalise projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.

The expectation is that the PM will be experienced in the field of modelling, simulation and training with recent operational military experiance. In addition to their primary responsibilities the PM will be expected to work with and support other directorates to help grow the business globally. The PM will aid business development, capture and software development and delivery teams that utilise PLEXSYS products to drive virtual and constructive exercises and train users in the operation of PLEXSYS products.

ROLE

* Ensure assigned projects are managed effectively to meet customer requirements and company profit goals
* Define, vision, project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
* Develop and Manage project contract, contract amendments and change orders and associated documentation in line with the PLEXSYS QMS
* Develop, produce and maintain integrated project management plans and relevant project documentation such as integrated project master schedule, risk register, taskings, acceptance test plan etc.
* Supervise, coordinate, and manage all day-to-day activities related to assigned project
* Coordinate and track Product development for existing and future project requirements
* Ensure product test coverage and execution of project requirements
* Develop, maintain and update project space on Electronic Information Management System
* Routinely schedule and conduct project meetings (internal, external, and with senior management)
* Maintain and disseminate minutes for all meetings
* Ability to conduct in-depth presentations of PLEXSYS products and services, in person and on-line.
* Support Business Development and customer meetings
* Lead and assist in proposal development
* Understand and be knowledgeable on all our products
* Understand regional customer requirements and articulate this to product and engineering support
* Work closely with PLEXSYS UK Ltd Director and assist with functions of the UK operations, as required
* Support the company's participation in trade shows, industry events, workshops and webinars

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:

* Strong Communication skills (written and verbal)
* Bachelor degree in a related field, or equivalent number of years' experience
* Previous experience as a Project or Programme Manager
* Experience in managing client relationships, client expectations and project timelines
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Project, Word and Excel
* Concepts and principles underpinning Live, Virtual and Constructive systems for Training or Test and Evaluation.
* An efficient, structured approach to status reporting to a range of stakeholders
* Proven multitasking ability; incisive analytical thinking; details-oriented approach to planning and quality assurance; excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired:

* Military experience in C4ISR/Combat operations/Intelligence career field
* Comfort with Wiki system as primary method for project organization and knowledge sharing
* Supervisory experience in managing a team
* Earned Value management experience
* Security Clearance – Secret and above

Due to the nature of elements of the role, applicants must be a UK National and may be required to successfully complete National Security Vetting which may require criminal record, security service and credit reference checks; qualification will also normally require a minimum UK residency of at least 5 years.
