Our client Bolton council is looking for a Children's Social Worker to join their Safeguarding team.
Responsibilities
* Work within the Safeguarding Children team.
* Undertake duty and home visits across Bolton.
* Meet statutory deadlines while handling a caseload.
* Prepare court reports and work with Child Protection and CIN processes.
* Flexible working arrangements balancing remote and office tasks.
* Travel to Bolton and be present in the office at Castle Hill on short notice when required.
Qualifications
* At least 3 years experience as a Social Worker.
* Knowledge of Child Protection, Child Information Network (CIN), court reports and statutory processes.
* Ability to work within statutory deadlines and Safeguarding Team procedures.
* Strong organisational skills and the capacity to manage a caseload.
* Willingness to travel to the office and attend statutory visits.
