Key Responsibilities of the Head of Risk (Trading):
* Lead the development and enforcement of the firm's risk management framework across market, credit and liquidity risk
* Monitor exposures across physical and financial positions, ensuring adherence to limits and risk appetite
* Deliver daily and ad-hoc risk reporting to senior management, highlighting key exposures and stress scenarios
* Build and scale the risk team, hiring key talent to support the firm's growing risk management needs
Key Requirements of the Head of Risk (Trading):
* 6+ years experience in risk management within a trading environment
* Strong understanding of market risk principles, credit risk and commodity trading dynamics
* Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders, traders and functional leaders
* Proven experience leading and developing a risk team, including hiring, mentoring and performance management
