We are looking for an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join our dedicated IT team, where you will be instrumental in supporting and optimising our technology infrastructure, contributing to both daily operations.
Job Summary:
Responsible for all desktop support.
Responsible for all telephone and mobile communication
Responsible for home support for Directors and Key staff.
Support for all LAN, RF and wireless network and equipment.
Support for all Server infrastructure including virtualization environment.
Support for company applications.
Administration of Active Directory.
Support for building management systems.
Support for fire alarm and CCTV systems.
Support for warehouse automation systems.
Specifically:
To provide support for all user hardware and software issues including configuration
To provide for reliable backup and ensure backup rotation with safe offsite storage.
To perform all Daily Tasks as outlined on IT Daily Task sheet
Maintain accurately the company Asset Registry.
To ensure that the company is fully compliant with software licensing.
To configure company PCs, laptops and mobile devices
To support and monitor servers in the head office, disaster recovery and distribution centre.
To support and monitor all company server software solutions.
To provide antivirus protection to all servers, desktops and mobile devices.
To support and monitor replication solutions such as Double Take, DFS, Log Shipping, VEEAM Replication etc.
To install, configure and maintain any peripheral company equipment.
To support telephone system.
To assist in annual disaster recovery test.
To support warehouse automation systems including single point of control system.
To undertake additional work or projects at the discretion of the IT Director & IT Manager.
