Contract Role: Asset Management Operations & Vendor Support Analyst (Associate Level)
Contract Location: London onsite full time Monday to Friday 08:30 - 18:30hrs
Contract Duration: 5-6 months (Maternity Leave Cover)
Contract Start Date: 13th April 2026
Contract Classification: Inside IR35
This is an exciting opportunity to join Deloitte for an engagement with a leading global investment banking and asset management client.
The Bank Relationship Management team is responsible for the management of the front-to-back oversight governance framework for fund administrators, custodians and brokers across the Asset Management fund complex and institutional client managed accounts. The Asset Management team manages close to $1 trillion in more than 1,000 funds, distributed to clients across our client base.
This role will support the team during a parental leave period and will focus on a combination of operational delivery, project support, and vendor oversight activities.
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking an Associate-level professional with experience in Asset Management Operations to support the team across vendor management and operational reporting activities.
Depending on background, the successful candidate will support the team in one or more of the following areas:
Vendor / Relationship Management Support:
• Supporting the oversight of fund administrators and custodians to maximise service quality and value delivery
• Assisting with vendor onboarding, reviews, and ongoing compliance with internal policies
• Supporting service reviews, issue resolution, and stakeholder coordination
• Contributing to vendor-related projects aligned to business priorities
Operations / Reporting / Analytics Support:
• Producing and maintaining operational metrics, MI, and performance dashboards
• Supporting issue tracking, remediation monitoring, and process improvements
• Analysing operational data to support decision-making and risk management
• Providing reporting and project support to relieve pressure across the wider team
General Responsibilities:
• Supporting cross-functional projects and workstreams
• Ensuring compliance with internal risk frameworks and regulatory standards
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives
Required Skills and Experience:
• Must be operating at an Associate level with 2-5 years' experience within Asset Management Operations
• Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Vendor / relationship management within fund services, custody, or fund administration
- Operations reporting, MI, analytics, or performance tracking within asset management
• Strong Excel skills; BI or reporting tools experience is advantageous
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
