Clinical nurse/practitioner - Infection prevention & Control

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an award-winning Infection Prevention and Control Team. The post holder will work in a multi-disciplinary team comprising Infection Prevention and Control Nurses, Practitioners, microbiologists, BMS staff, and administrative staff to provide professional advice related to Infection Prevention and Control Practice and Policies. The post holder will promote and develop the field of infection prevention and control by fostering a culture of effective healthcare among Trust staff. Daily tasks include surveillance, training, audits, and assisting in outbreak management, ensuring these activities are implemented, delivered, and evaluated in line with governmental directives.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse, Midwife, or Allied Healthcare Professional
* Teaching certificate ENB 998/PP126/127/C&G730 or active Mentorship qualification
* Evidence of qualification to supervise, teach, and assess students (expected to be completed within 18 months)
* Postgraduate Diploma in a relevant field of practice
