Overview
Deputy Head of Events to support with the effective delivery of all school and commercial events at Alleyn's School in South London, Dulwich.
Working in close partnership with the Head of Events, the postholder will oversee the logistical management of events on site, including the provision of pre-planning and staffing. They look after the core booking systems, day-to-day logistics of the calendar and management of staff rotas.
This is an all year round position, working 37.5 hours per week across five days (Monday to Sunday), including evenings and weekends.
The salary for this role is £40,000 to £45,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
The ideal candidate for this role is a highly organised and experienced event professional with a strong background in managing large-scale and complex events across educational, corporate, or charity settings. They will possess excellent team leadership and communication skills, a solid understanding of hospitality standards, and the ability to manage financial planning, external vendors, and staff logistics with precision.
