In addition to our current portfolio of accommodation for children and young people, we are excited to have been awarded a new opportunity to develop and manage four additional homes across the North West, in the Greater Manchester area, supplementing our existing home in Liverpool. These homes will be for children aged 11+ with complex mental health support needs. They will add to our established children's home portfolio in the North West.
The successful ADCS will serve as the designated Responsible Individual for these homes and any future homes as they are opened.
As the lead across the North of England for residential homes, the successful candidate will be an integral member of Barnardo's North Senior Management Team, reporting directly to the regional Director. As part of the SMT, you will contribute to strategic and operational plans for the region. As a senior leader, you are expected to model the behaviours outlined in Our Values and Behaviours. The Responsible Individual must have a proven track record of working within the Ofsted regulatory framework.
Please note that due to high application volumes, this advert might close before the listed deadline. We recommend applying promptly.
Pay & Reward Framework
We value our colleagues' dedication and commitment to Barnardo's mission. To support this, we have implemented a fair, attractive, and progressive pay and reward system, introduced in April 2023 as part of our People & Culture Strategy. This system aims to help colleagues belong, thrive, and grow, providing clear progression routes for career and pay.
While the full pay band and salary range are advertised, starting salaries are typically set between the minimum and mid-point of the pay band, with annual pay steps based on contribution and alignment with our values and behaviours. More details are available upon application.
