NDMVA members provide direct in-person service at schools, community centers, and non-profits. All positions are designed to provide academic assistance for grades K-12 or to provide adult education in STEM, GED, food security, job readiness, or job training.
Responsibilities may include: assisting with after-school programs, STEM education, facilitating or executing small group instruction with guidance/support from classroom teachers; working with teachers to coordinate in-class support for students around engagement and behavior; assisting with the coordination and implementation of literacy classes; supporting food security organizations.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident, at least 18 years or older, and have a high school diploma or GED.
