Hours: 25 hours per week (9:30am – 2:30pm) Monday to Friday, term time only, including INSET days (39 weeks)

Join us as a School Kitchen Assistant and play a vital role in creating a welcoming and nourishing environment for our pupils and staff. You'll be involved in preparing fresh ingredients, simple meals, setting up the dining area, and maintaining a clean kitchen.
We are looking for an individual who:
* Has experience working in a school kitchen environment
* Can support the kitchen manager in running an effective lunch service
* Can promote healthy eating
* Is flexible and adaptable to ensure smooth lunch service operations
* Maintains a calm and consistent approach when working with children
* Can communicate effectively with children, staff, and professionals
* Shares the school's vision and values
* Has a patient, empathetic, and conscientious nature, committed to providing the best care and service for children
* Possesses good interpersonal skills and works well in a team
Fluency Duty: This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016). The ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents, and other users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for this role.
