A well-established specialist interior fit-out subcontractor is looking to appoint an Estimator to join their growing commercial team in London.
The company delivers high-quality interior packages across commercial projects, including specialist washroom installations, bespoke joinery, partitions and associated fit-out works. Projects are typically within the commercial office, workplace and high-end interior fit-out sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator with relevant specialist subcontractor experience to join a busy and expanding business working on high-profile projects across London.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for interior fit-out packages
* Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
* Pricing works including washrooms, partitions, joinery and associated interior packages
* Sending enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors and analysing returned quotations
* Producing take-offs and preparing bills of quantities where required
* Liaising with the commercial and pre-construction teams to develop competitive tenders
* Attending tender review meetings and supporting value engineering where possible
Requirements
* Experience working as an Estimator within the construction or interior fit-out sector
* Ideally previous experience pricing washrooms, partitioning, joinery or specialist fit-out packages
* Strong understanding of drawings and technical specifications
* Good commercial awareness and ability to produce accurate cost estimates
* Experience working with subcontractors and suppliers during the tender process
* Strong organisational and communication skills
