Fire Door Inspector

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Door Inspector to join a growing compliance team, supporting fire safety across residential and/or commercial properties.
This role is critical in ensuring fire doors meet current legislation, standards, and best practice, with a strong focus on BM TRADA guidance and certification requirements. -----------------------------------
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out detailed fire door inspections in line with BM TRADA, BS 8214, and relevant fire safety standards
* Accurately assess fire doors, frames, ironmongery, seals, glazing, and signage
* Record inspection findings using digital or paper-based reporting systems
* Identify non-compliance issues and provide clear remedial recommendations
* Liaise with clients, site teams, and contractors to explain inspection outcomes
* Ensure all work complies with current Fire Safety Regulations and industry best practice
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in fire door legislation and BM TRADA guidance
