Connect Appointments is recruiting a Coachbuilder to join the UK's leading manufacturer of specialist temperature-controlled and bespoke commercial vehicles, based at their Dunfermline facility.
Our client is a long-established, family-owned business with over 65 years of engineering excellence and a strong reputation for quality and innovation across the commercial vehicle industry.
What's on offer?
* Full-time permanent position
* Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm - early finish on Fridays
* Up to £41,500 per annum - dependent on experience
* Overtime and bonuses available
* 33 days holiday per year
As a Coachbuilder, your duties will include:
* Assembling mechanical components to engineering specifications using hand and power tools
* Performing quality checks throughout the assembly process and resolving build issues
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings accurately
* Collaborating with other departments to improve build flow
* Maintaining accurate build records and a clean, safe work environment
To be considered as a Coachbuilder, you will need:
* Experience in mechanical assembly or coachbuilding
* The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality
* A team-focused approach with good problem-solving skills
* Basic IT skills for job tracking
