Managing Partner | Strategic Search | Leadership Advisory | Marketing | Technology

A market-leading strategic advisory and communications consultancy is entering a major phase of growth and transformation. As part of this evolution, we are seeking a Chief Commercial Officer to take full ownership of commercial strategy, operational performance and revenue growth across the business.

This is a pivotal board appointment reporting directly to the CEO, designed for an exceptional commercial leader who can scale a professional services organisation internationally and deliver significant enterprise value. The position offers a genuine succession pathway to CEO.

The Opportunity

You will act as the commercial and operational engine of the organisation, leading day-to‑day performance, driving margin and revenue uplift, expanding into new markets, improving infrastructure and strengthening leadership capability.

With ambitions and ability to triple in size over the next three years, the business needs a transformative commercial leader who understands how to build repeatable growth engines, enhance people leadership and evolve operating structures without compromising culture.


Key Responsibilities


Operational & Leadership Delivery

* Lead daily operations across all teams and offices both in the UK and EMEA
* Build scalable infrastructure, systems and controls to support growth
* Set performance standards, accountability and leadership excellence
* Own revenue, margin, profitability and forecasting
* Develop scalable income models, pricing structures and new service lines
* Strengthen propositions and market positioning using data and insights


Sales & Business Development

* Own the commercial growth engine and pipeline delivery
* Increase client lifetime value, upsell/cross‑sell systems and win‑rate success
* Expand sector and international reach
* Coach senior leaders and drive organisational capability
* Oversee talent, hiring, development and workforce planning


Strategic Growth & M&A

* Evaluate external investment and acquisitions
* Lead post‑merger integration and value‑creation initiatives
* Partner closely with CEO, Board and financial stakeholders


What We’re Looking For

* Senior commercial leader (Managing Director, CEO, COO or CCO experience) within a PR or Corporate Communications Consultancy; bonus for corporate affairs or professional services experience
* Proven success scaling businesses internationally and at pace
* Strong leadership pedigree managing senior Director‑level talent
* Demonstrable experience improving revenue, growth and margin performance
* Entrepreneurial mindset with data‑driven discipline
* Strategic and operational balance; not afraid to get hands‑on
