What you’ll be doing…
As a Supervisor in a hospital setting, you will play a key role in the day‑to‑day delivery of catering or hospitality services for patients, staff, and visitors.
* Supervise daily operations within your designated service area
* Ensure high standards of service delivery, cleanliness, and food hygiene are consistently maintained
* Lead and support team members with training, task delegation, and shift coordination
* Ensure compliance with NHS policies, infection prevention controls, and food safety procedures
* Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and elevate issues where needed
* Handle customer and patient queries in a professional and compassionate manner
* Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory checks as required
* Work closely with hospital and contractor teams to ensure service excellence and continuous improvement
Working pattern: 5 days out of 7 | 30 hours per week

What can you bring?
* Previous supervisory experience in catering, hospitality, or facilities management
* Experience in a healthcare or NHS setting is desirable but not essential
* Good working knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety standards (Level 2 Food Safety required)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to motivate a team and lead by example
* Organised and proactive, with a commitment to delivering great service
* Compassionate and respectful, especially when working in patient‑facing environments
