My client, a reputable Investment Bank, is looking to hire a technical Business Analyst to play a key role on a major transformation programme across their Fixed Income technology space. This is a Greenfield programme of work where the Bank is looking to modernise their trading platform, moving to a new microservices-based architecture and delivering an advanced suite of real-time pricing applications across Credit and Rates.
For this role, they want to hire a Technology Business Analyst who understands object-orientated programming and who can work closely with the business and technology to establish requirements and get involved with the architecture and design of the platform.
You will not be coding in this role, but an understanding of how systems are knitted together from a development perspective is key as you will be working closely with the engineering teams who will be building the applications.
To be right for this role, you will need to have a track record in the following:
* Experience as a technical BA on another real-time trading platform build within Fixed Income.
* A grasp of object-orientated programming (Java is preferred but experience with others are fine too).
* Experience working on platforms with microservice architectures and frameworks
* A thorough understanding of how to sit with front office users to gather requirements and translate these into technical specifications for software development teams
