Intermediate Quantity Surveyor Facades Remediation Brighton
The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing the commercial resources of assigned projects in order to maximise planned gross margin and profitability. The role involves managing subcontractors, procurement, cost control, project valuations and financial reporting while ensuring commercial and contractual risks are effectively managed.
The Quantity Surveyor will support the delivery of projects safely, on time and to the required quality standards while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
This role reports to a Senior or Managing Quantity Surveyor and supports the wider commercial team in achieving the financial objectives of the business.
Responsibilities
Commercial Management & Cost Control
Support the commercial management of faade and cladding remediation projects, monitoring project costs against budgets, assisting with monthly CVR and cost-to-complete reporting, and providing regular financial updates to the Senior Quantity Surveyor to ensure margins and profitability targets are maintained.
