£445-£475 Weekly Pay (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)
New Directions is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant for a lovely SEND primary school in Salford for the upcoming academic year.
The School:
1. Lovely SEND Primary School in Salford
2. Setting caters for learners 5-11 with severe and complex needs
3. Part of wider trust with opportunities in a number of schools throughout Salford
The Role:
4. Full-time support for pupils with a range of needs such as: moderate learning difficulties (MLD), severe learning difficulties (SLD) & Complex Needs
5. Working with pupils with medical needs, as well as personal care being an essential aspect of the role
6. Sensory interventions, use of the school state of the art sensory room, use of communication aids such as: PECS, Makaton are all prevalent in the role
The Candidate:
7. SEND Teaching Assistant experience is desirable but not essential.
8. Experience working with children with additional needs in a classroom setting is preferred; however, we also welcome applications from individuals with backgrounds in care, support work, sports coaching, or psychology.
