Part-Time Office Assistant — Global Financial Services Firm (London)
January start, ongoing temporary role
Based in the City of London
£16 - £20 per hour DOE
Schedule: 2 days per week, 4 hours per day (with occasional additional hours)
A global financial services firm are seeking a highly organised and capable Office Assistant to keep their new London office running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who is able to self-manage and enjoys being the go-to person for office needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain pantry: order and organise snacks, drinks, supplies; oversee daily upkeep of machines
* Track and restock office supplies
* Greet visitors and support onsite meetings
* Receive deliveries; sort and distribute mail
* Coordinate daily catered meals
* Support recruiting with onsite interviews and new-hire onboarding
* Assist with planning team dinners and outings
* Partner with global Admin/IT teams on office projects
* Ship packages globally (FedEx, DHL)
* Keep the office tidy; maintain seating chart
* Occasionally assist IT with equipment setup
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a similar role within a corporate environment is essential
* Highly organised, reliable, and calm under pressure
* Strong multitasking skills; enjoys working hard and proactively
* Comfortable in fast-paced environments
* Microsoft Office experience a plus
