Position: Part-time Sales Assistant
Hours: 22.5 hours, £12.83 per hour, 3 days over 6
We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Assistant. If you have customer-focused experience, whether paid or voluntary, and a friendly, positive outlook, we want you to help our Shop Manager and volunteers make our shop as successful as possible.
* Maintain high standards of visual merchandising
* Assist customers from entry to purchase
* Promote Gift Aid and other promotions
* Handle paperwork, cashing up, and banking
* Support volunteer training
* Sort and prepare donated stock
* Travel to other shops if needed
* Support health and safety procedures
* Manage daily shop operations and volunteers in the Manager's absence
* Reflect the company's values in behavior
Candidate qualities:
* Resilient, supportive, caring, hands-on, enthusiastic
* Excellent customer service skills
* Positive attitude and pride in work
* Adaptable and quick thinker
* Interest in environment and sustainability
* Engaging personality and desire to succeed
Hours are on a shift basis between Monday and Saturday. All responsibilities and skills are detailed in the Job Description upon application.
