We are currently recruiting for a QA Technician on a FTC of 6 months to work in our production facility in Newbury. The hours for this position are Monday - Friday 7.00am-3pm.
Main responsibilities:
* Monitoring & Calibration checks - Carry out pH meter calibration daily CCP verification, daily scale checks and any other daily monitoring, e.g. temperatures of refrigerators, environmental monitoring in warehouse etc.
* Ensure that all checks are carried out at the appropriate time.
* Ensure that if any 'reading' is out of range that appropriate action is taken immediately.
* Complete Internal Audits.
* Undertake Investigations and Root Cause Analysis.
* Sampling and sending finished goods for testing at external laboratories.
* Monitoring EFK's and reporting any anomalies and/or trends.
* Creating & updating competency checks for all Procedures and Work Instructions.
* Creating & updating training presentations for all Procedures and Work Instructions.
* Coordinating and conducting Site Quality panel.
* Ordering Technical equipment, maintaining stocks and budget.
* End of life shelf-life verification testing and data logging.
* Logging of customer complaints data.
* Inputting monthly trending data.
* Allergen Monitoring of Plant & Equipment - As and when required carry out allergen swabbing, coupled with visual assessment, of plant and equipment. Manage the testing, re-testing and releasing of correctly cleaned equipment to production.
* Managing Retained Samples - Ensure all samples are correctly stored and are tested for Quality and Safety durability at end of life.
* Monitor the site Training Matrix, plan and issue training as required.
* GMP audit - Ensure audits are scheduled and any findings are raised on site to the appropriate departmental manager.
* Raise NCR's as appropriate, either for materials or processes and procedures. Ensure that any NCR raised is properly investigated, that the root cause is identified, where possible, and that the NCR is closed out in a timely fashion with robust CAPA.
