Experienced Building Surveyor: Condition Surveys for Schools & Colleges (East Anglia, Essex, Herts)
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Condition Surveyor to join a growing team. You will play a key role in delivering comprehensive building surveys for schools and colleges across East Anglia, Essex, and Hertfordshire.

As a Condition Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out comprehensive condition surveys of schools and colleges across East Anglia, Essex, and Hertfordshire.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct in-depth inspections of educational buildings, both internally and externally
* Identify and assess potential building defects and health & safety hazards and maintenance priorities
* Ensure compliance with current building regulations and relevant legislation
* Prioritise maintenance and repair needs, providing accurate cost estimates
* Prepare clear, concise, and informative survey reports for clients
* Liaise effectively with school/college staff, academy trusts, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Building Surveying degree (ideally MRICS or working towards)
* Minimum 3 years' experience carrying out comprehensive building condition surveys on education or commercial buildings.
* Proven track record of delivering high-quality reports on time and within budget
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving license and a car (essential)
