Responsibilities
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing all cost-related aspects of utility and infrastructure projects, ensuring that they are delivered within budget while maintaining quality and safety standards. This full-time, on-site role is based in Leyland and includes duties such as cost planning, creating BOQs, cost control, and financial reporting. The role also involves liaising with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Cost Control, including managing budgets and ensuring financial efficiency.
* Experience in creating and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) as a key tool in project planning and delivery.
* Strong skills in Cost Management and Cost Planning for comprehensive project oversight.
* Ability to prepare detailed and accurate Cost Reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively with teams, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
* Professional certifications such as RICS or equivalent are an advantage.
