The Role
We're looking for an organised and proactive individual to join our team in a role supporting both the Logistics and Finance departments. This position plays a key part in ensuring the smooth movement of products to retailers.
No prior experience in logistics or finance is required, but would be beneficial - full training will be provided. We're looking for someone with strong attention to detail, a "can-do" attitude, and the willingness to learn and grow within the role.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics
● Coordinate and book shipments to UK retailers and customers
● Manage relationships with freight forwarders and couriers.
● Ensure deliveries meet retailer and compliance requirements.
● Track and resolve delivery issues, including returns.
● Collaborate with Sales, Warehouse, Finance, and teams to ensure smooth operations.
● Verify and file shipping documentation, including Proof of Delivery.
Finance
● Enter supplier invoices and expenses into Sage 50.
● Process customer self-bill and portal submissions.
● Process supplier stock invoices and maintain accurate filing of records.
● Assist with monthly account reconciliation processes.
● Other various finance duties.
About You
● Organised and detail-oriented.
● Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
● Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
● Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
● Experience with Sage 50 is a bonus but not essential.
● Positive, proactive, and eager to learn new skills.
Schedule
● Monday to Friday, in person.
● Shifts 08:00-16:00, 08:30-16:30 & 09:00-17:00 on rota basis.
