Underwriting Manager – Bridging Finance - London (Hybrid)

This role is for a hands-on Underwriting Manager to lead a high-performing team within a dynamic, people-first business. This is a pivotal leadership role for someone who thrives on being present, engaged, and respected for their deep expertise in bridging lending.
The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of a team of experienced case managers and underwriters — providing mentorship, structure, and day-to-day leadership. The team is technically strong and looking for a leader who leads from the front and supports with consistency.
You’ll need:
* Bridging finance underwriting experience — a must-have
* Experience managing and developing people — including case managers and underwriters
* A balanced leadership style
* Hybrid working - 3 days a week
* A natural ability to support, challenge, and raise standards with emotional intelligence
