An exciting opportunity has opened for an Accounts Manager at a very well-established company based in Mid-Kent. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a similar position who is not afraid to get stuck in and roll their sleeves up in a fast-paced environment.
Duties Include but are not limited to:
General Bookkeeping duties:
Bank Reconciliations in Sage
New Supplier Checks
Credit checks and allocating credit allowance
Purchase Ledger Duties:
Monitor cash flow and reduce costs where possible
Contractor and Supplier weekly payment runs and meetings with Directors
Provide remittance advice
Accounts Receivable Duties:
Raising sales invoices weekly
Collecting debt and contacting debtors regarding payment
Payroll Duties:
4 weekly payment runs for all employees
Upload information to the pension scheme
Submit relevant reports to HMRC
Overall Duties:
Cash flow forecasts
P&L and Balance Sheets
Weekly Financial Reports
Monitor VAT and HMRC requirements
Produce and monitor P&L reports across the company including profits, assets and more
Other reasonable Ad-Hoc duties associated with the position.
The ideal candidate will:
Have proven experience in a similar position
Have meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Have a proactive can-do attitude and not be afraid to get stuck in and take on any task at hand
