Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Electrical Panel Builder to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels used in advanced automation systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble and wire electrical control panels based on engineering drawings and schematics.
* Mount components such as circuit breakers, relays, PLCs, and terminal blocks.
* Perform point-to-point wiring and cable routing to a high standard.
* Conduct basic testing and fault-finding of completed panels.
* Ensure all work complies with relevant safety and quality standards.
* Collaborate with design engineers and project managers to resolve build issues.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area and follow company procedures.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in electrical panel building or electrical assembly.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
* Strong understanding of electrical components and control systems.
* Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
* Familiarity with tools and equipment used in panel assembly.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
* Experience working in an automation or machinery manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical.
* Understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations.
