Job Description
We are committed to developing top hospitality talent into professionals, leaders, and executives of the future. Our Leadership and Culinary Development Programs are minimum 18‑month programs designed to help you understand the hotel's overall operations while specializing in several areas. Through cross‑exposure experiences and mentorship, participants build leadership capabilities. Upon completion, graduates are prepared for leadership roles within our hotel, strengthening our internal talent pipeline.
The program combines rotations with defined milestones to track progress. As a Food & Beverage Management Trainee, you will work under the Food & Beverage Director and various restaurant leaders across multiple outlets (Crown & Anchor, In‑Room Dining, 1609, The Beach Club, Intrepid, Duchess, Banquets). You will gain experience in F&B operating standards, hiring, scheduling, coaching and counseling, performance reviews, health and safety regulations, customer complaint handling, menu design, marketing events, vendor relationships, purchasing, inventory, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, month‑end financials, and monthly communication meetings. Successful completion will lead to a full‑time position as a Food & Beverage supervisor/leader.
Program Eligibility
* Exclusive to Bermudians, PRC holders, or spouses of Bermudians
* Diploma or advanced diploma in Hospitality Management or a degree in Business/Tourism is preferred
* Minimum 12 months practical work experience in the hospitality industry
* A willingness and ability to work in a team environment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to exceed customer service expectations
* Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays
